Accusump oil pressure accumulation tank.
It is designed to supply oil to the engine before the engine starts (pre-charge), this eliminates the dry start phenomenon.
Simply opening a valve or turning on a switch before starting the engine circulates pressurized oil to pre-fill the engine's bearings and bushings to prevent seizure.
Stores oil under pressure and delivers it when normal engine oil pressure drops to protect against engine damage during demanding racing conditions.
To fill and discharge the Accusump battery, simply install through one line, which is the return from the oil cooler, or via a T-piece to the oil filter base or directly to one of the oil lines.
The Accusump must be used in conjunction with one of three different valve options:
-Manual ball valve
-Manually controlled electric valve
-EPC valve (Electronic Pressure Control) fully adjustable (discharge oil when oil pressure drops below predetermined values and will only be filled when pressure rises above this level)
When the engine starts, pressurized oil is pumped into the Accusump to refill the tank.
This unique solution allows for optimal engine lubrication, required to maintain pressure in many circumstances.
For racing or challenging road conditions, Accusump automatically fills and unloads as needed during long turns, acceleration and braking.
