A best-in-class universal spark-ignition engine control computer designed to work with the most advanced and complex engines currently available. It is the successor to our proven Ecumaster EMU system. The main application of the product is in modified racing cars, road cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary applications. EMU Black has more sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies to provide a wide range of throttle control along with an advanced reliability (fault/error) security control algorithm. The system's capabilities will increase over time due to the ease of upgrading (free of charge) the firmware (e.g. new strategies, ignition patterns, Can-Bus data streams).
HIGH TECHNOLOGY
EMU Black is assembled according to IPC-S-815A standards to ensure high product reliability. The device is manufactured on an automated assembly line with optical control, automatically tested including firing. The quality and design of the PCB, the special surface coating and the IP60 degree of protection make the device operate in the harshest conditions. The components used allow for continuous operation in a very wide range of temperatures (AECQ-100 GRADE 2 (-40 to +105˚C).
WIDE FUNCTIONALITY
The EMU Black has more built-in features than any other aftermarket ECU. It easily matches the functionality of other stand-alone management systems with multiple inputs and outputs. Unlike many other ECU systems, the EMU Black has a built-in wide-range oxygen input (Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 sensors connected directly), MAP control connector (4 bar MAP sensor on board), 2 EGT probe inputs and an input for direct connection of a content sensor Flex Fuel Ethanol. All of this provides greater flexibility, reduces costs, and eliminates the need for external or additional signal control systems and associated wiring that other management systems require.
