What is polyurethane?

A material with unlimited possibilities. PU basically consists of two raw materials, namely isocyanate and polyol. Mixing both of these ready-to-process liquid components of the system, and various auxiliary materials such as catalysts, foaming agents and stabilizers, initiates a chemical reaction. By changing the components and proportions of the mixture, you can precisely adjust the properties of the resulting polyurethane, so as to obtain a material with different stiffness and flexibility, suitable for specific, individual needs. They are resistant to many aggressive chemical compounds, which means that they displace many traditional materials such as: rubber, metals, ceramics.

Properties of polyurethanes:

- high resistance to tearing, tearing, cracking, abrasion
- very good resistance to dynamic loads
- the ability to work in a wide range of positive and negative temperatures
- resistance to UV radiation
- the ability to work in oils and other fats, greases, series of acids and solvents

- do not age (unlike rubber)
- they are non-flammable
