Polycarbonate panes by IRP

The offered glass panes are available in thicknesses of 3-5 mm. For drifting, track driving, we recommend 3-4mm thick windows, stiffer rally windows in accordance with FIA regulations are 4mm thick, for more demanding people we recommend 5mm thick windows.

The panes have UV protection on both sides, which prevents them from tarnishing under the influence of sunlight. The glass is cut with high accuracy and attention to detail thanks to the use of CNC technology. Each project has been prepared for a specific car and tested.

Polycarbonate panes significantly increase safety, impact damage to the material is theoretically impossible. In practice, it is only after many cycles of strong impacts that it is possible to damage the glass.

Thanks to the use of polycarbonate windows, we additionally reduce the weight of the car and lower the center of gravity. Compared to the original glass density of 2.7 kg / dm 3, polycarbonate with a density of 1.2 kg / dm 3 allows for more than two-fold reduction in the weight of the glass with the same thickness. Additionally, when using polycarbonate panes, the window opening mechanism can be removed.
