IRP polycarbonate windows
The offered glass is available in thicknesses of 3-5 mm. For drifting and track driving, we recommend glass with a thickness of 3-4 mm, stiffer glass for rallies in accordance with FIA regulations is 4 mm thick, for more demanding users, we recommend glass with a thickness of 5 mm.
The windows have UV protection on both sides, which prevents them from becoming dull under the influence of sunlight. The glass is cut with high accuracy and attention to detail thanks to the use of CNC technology. Each project was prepared for a specific car and tested.
Polycarbonate windows significantly increase safety, impact damage to the material is theoretically impossible. In practice, it is only after many cycles of strong impacts that the glass can be damaged.
By using polycarbonate windows, we additionally reduce the weight of the car and lower the center of gravity. Compared to the original glass density of 2.7 kg/dm^3, polycarbonate with a density of 1.2 kg/dm^3 allows for a more than two-fold reduction in the weight of the glass at the same thickness. Additionally, when using polycarbonate windows, the window lowering mechanism can be removed.
