Ecumaster Camera
Thermal imaging cameras provide precise and non-contact real-time temperature readings. The measured data is sent via Can Bus and can be recorded and displayed by other devices (e.g. ADU). User-configurable sensors take a precise reading (less than 3°C error) at up to 16 points per tire from 0° to 255°C (Tyre Temperature Sensor) or up to 950°C (brake disc version). All data is transmitted at up to 50Hz over a flexible user-configurable CAN stream, allowing the sensors to connect to any data system. It is worth mentioning that the fully available configuration of the CAN stream allows the use of many sensors in one car without the risk of collision of message identifiers.
TECHNOLOGY
The Ecumaster CAN infrared tire thermal imager is a valuable addition to any racing car. Each camera provides temperature readings for 16 points across the entire tire and transmits this information over the CAN bus. The ADU dashboard display can display the real-time thermal model of the tire, showing the temperature gradient across the tire.
