Accusump oil pressure accumulator tank.
It is designed to supply oil to the engine before the engine starts running (pre-charge), this eliminates the dry start phenomenon.
Simply opening a valve or turning on a switch before starting the engine circulates pressurized oil to pre-fill the bearings and bearings in the engine to prevent seizing.
Stores pressurized oil and delivers it when normal engine oil pressure drops to protect against engine damage during demanding racing conditions.
To fill and discharge the Accusump battery, simply install through one line which is the return from the oil cooler or via a tee to the oil filter tray or directly to one of the oil lines.
Accusump must be used in conjunction with one of three different valve options:
-Manual ball valve
-Manually operated electric valve
- EPC (Electronic Pressure Control) valve fully adjustable (oil discharge when oil pressure drops below predetermined values and will only refill when pressure rises above this level)
Once the engines start running, pressurized oil will be pumped into the Accusump to recharge the tank.
This unique solution allows for optimal engine lubrication required to maintain pressure in many circumstances.
For racing or difficult road conditions, the Accusump will automatically inflate and discharge as needed, during long turns, acceleration and braking.
