The system is dedicated to one driver and two mechanics.
The set consists of:
- 2 attenuated earmuffs with PTT (Push To Talk) function for mechanics with built-in Bluetooth module
- Bluetooth module with a switch for the driver
How it's working?
Verbacom offers drivers a cost-effective and highly efficient system for communicating from car to pit stop using their mobile phones. The engineer/spotter phone connects to the car phone before starting the car, the car control unit is programmed to answer automatically, and the phone connection remains open so that the engineer/spotter phone and the car control unit are constantly connected until turned off. Communication between units is always open, the pit crew presses the push-to-talk button on the headset to transmit to the driver, while the driver can simply speak without pressing any button thanks to digital noise cancellation, which eliminates all background noise. If for some reason the signal is lost and the call is interrupted, the engineer/spotter's phone automatically calls the switchboard in the car, which automatically answers the call for the driver.
